How to delete a Truecar.com account?

I found the car I want separate from Truecar and want to delete my account with them. I have searched all the dropdown menus and FAQ section of Truecar.com and cannot figure out how to delete my account. I have emailed them asking, but wondering if anyone has any experience with removing their account from truecar?

Im trying this too, but it does not appear it can be done online. Even unsubscribing from everything resets some contact that cannot be removed even though their site says it is. TrueCar is a complete sham designed to force you into non negotiable higher vehicle prices. I had two dealers in my TrueCar profile who told me straight up they were "bound" to the TC provided pricing and they would not negotiate. So I went to another dealer ;)

I ended up doing something similar. This lack of transparency really disturbs me. I can only hope their claim that the delete all your data after 90 days of inactivity is correct, though I doubt it.

I just got off the phone with TrueCar. You have to call them and tell them to unsubscribe you from the email list and they will reach out to the dealers and tell them the same. Also, you need to sign out of your profile and after a certain amount of time (90 days I believe) the account will become inactive.
